The pools and lazy rivers are awesome for family fun. The noise from the pool DJ was too loud at times.

Multiple pools were nice. The water park was fun for the kids. Room cleanliness was below expectations. I found hair and mold in the bathroom. Service was friendly but slow. Parking is tough during busy hours. Access to the beach is great.

The Breakers Resort Hotel boasts numerous pools and hot tubs that cater to all ages, making it a fun family destination. Our spacious room featured a lovely ocean view, and the well-equipped kitchen added convenience to our stay. The location is perfect for beach access!

The staff was friendly and helpful and we got a free airport shuttle that was super convenient. Had a full kitchen that made it easy to whip up meals and save money.
It wasn’t the cheapest option but honestly worth it.

Great location with stunning views. The selection of pools is impressive, and the always-available pool towels were a nice touch. Staff were generally helpful and polite, particularly the young man at checkout and Roger from maintenance. there were significant issues. We changed rooms due to mold in the bathroom, and the lack of basic cleanliness was disappointing. The check-in process was cumbersome. My elderly parents faced obstacles, causing unnecessary stress after a long drive. Noise from events disrupted our meals. The rooms need urgent updates, and housekeeping fell short despite hefty fees. With some focused improvements, this place could rise above its flaws. A good start, but not enough for a repeat visit.

The location is perfect for families with easy access to food and beach fun! The kids absolutely loved the pools, and we had a blast soaking up the sun on the beachfront. I can't wait to come back and do it all over again!

The proximity to the beach was amazing, and we loved having a full kitchen and a Murphy bed in our room. The ocean view from our balcony was perfect for relaxing, even though there was a bit of a smoking smell sometimes. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and comfy beds. there were definitely some areas that could use improvement. The check-in process was a bit chaotic, with our room not being ready until well past the official check-in time. The staff seemed a bit disorganized and unhelpful at times, especially when it came to issues like room assignments and service requests. The amenities, like the pools and water slides, were a bit disappointing. The water attractions seemed to be open to everyone, not just resort guests, and there was no one checking bracelets to enforce this. The cleanliness of the pools left something to be desired, with cigarette butts and insects floating in the water at times. Breakers has the potential to be a great beachfront resort, but there are definitely some areas that need attention in terms of organization and amenities management. Despite the ups and downs, we still had a decent stay and enjoyed our time by the beach.

The shuttle service was convenient, and being able to access other resorts was a plus. The location near the water was enjoyable for Easter festivities.
The outdated facilities lacked proper maintenance, with dirty carpets and rude staff. The room layout was awkward, with the bed greeting you upon entry and limited space.

Witnessing the rhythm of incredible Irish dancers and receiving free admission to hot attractions were highlights. The ocean view was relaxing, aside from dodging hazardous items left on the shore.
Who doesn't love smelling pot in the hallways and being showered with lit cigarette butts from above? .

The hotel is right across the street from popular places like River City Cafe and putt putt making it super convenient to grab a bite or have some fun not to mention the beach is just a short stroll away adding to the overall charm of the area plus the huge room had a full kitchen and was incredibly comfortable with tons of sleeping options so great for a relaxing stay but the elevators got a bit busy at times when the hotel filled up.

The whole experience was a mess! Our room was filthy, and the A/C smelled like it hadn’t been touched in ages. Plus, we ended up in a separate building, far from the ocean view we paid for. Total disappointment!

The room was spacious with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The full kitchen was a great addition, although some dishes were dirty upon arrival. Temperature control was decent, but the A/C emitted a burning smell, likely needing maintenance. The bathroom was clean and roomy, which I appreciated. Noise levels were surprisingly low, allowing for restful sleep. The balcony offered a nice angled ocean view, perfect for relaxing. consistent housekeeping was lacking, with insufficient washcloths, impacting overall comfort. The elevators were fast, which was a plus, even though parking wasn't ideal.

The front desk staff is fantastic and always ready to help. The view from my room is nice, and it’s conveniently located within walking distance to the boardwalk and swimming pools.
The pool area could use some adult supervision.

Perfectly situated near the beach, with family-friendly vibes and close to a Ben & Jerry’s and Starbucks. The two-bedroom oceanfront suite was spacious and clean, featuring a kitchen and multiple balconies—great views! the check-in process felt chaotic, with long waits and a mix-up that added frustration. Some staff were incredibly helpful, like Will and Tom, making a big difference, but others fell short, leaving a sour taste. While the amenities were nice, the room itself didn’t match expectations, with some maintenance issues that needed attention. A mixed bag of experiences, to say the least.

Had a blast during xmas at this hotel! Awesome water slides for the kids, lovely pool area with tons of seating, and a short walk to the beach. Perfect for some sunshine and sand without any hassle.
Had a bit of trouble with the front desk not being responsive, and the room had a tall balcony railing that blocked the view. Maintenance left the tub and shower head a bit grubby, and even found a surprise visitor on a towel from housekeeping.

I chose Breakers Resort for its oceanfront location near Myrtle Beach landmarks, but I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive staff. I enjoyed hearty dishes at Papa's Restaurant and live entertainment at Strong Waters Craft Cocktails & Kitchen, adding to the laid-back vibe.
Fully booked for the weekend.

We hit up the car show and Broadway fireworks, both wicked cool. The water features, lazy river, and slides were epic! The fun at the resort was off the charts!
More late-night party zones for us young peeps would take the trip from dope to legendary! .

The Breakers offered a paradise for families with a variety of pools, slides, and a lazy river for the kids to enjoy all day long. The activities kept everyone entertained, from the youngest to the oldest, creating cherished memories.
My wife says that providing more efficient elevator service would make the stay even smoother.

breakers resort was great for us! we could walk everywhere🚶, and the ocean🌊 was right outside. the staff was super helpful and the suite layout was perfect for our family's different schedules. rooms were spacious and clean, and the shops nearby were convenient.

Our first stay at this resort exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The staff was exceptional, especially the friendly and accommodating room cleaner. The kids had a blast at the pools and water slides. There is so much to do on-site that you don't even have to leave the resort. We will definitely be coming back for another fun-filled vacation.
Elevator cleanliness and maintenance could be improved.

My recent stay at Breakers was fantastic, the pool and children's facility were perfect for my family. The nearby restaurants and beach made it a great homebase for our visit. I'll recommend this hotel.

the room at breakers resort was nicer than expected and the view from the 20th floor was awesome. the staff was friendly and helpful. also, for my anniversary - they upgraded my room to a suite. the rose petals and chocolates were such a nice touch. the cleanliness - location, and plenty of pools were great.
